Welcome!
Welcome to the web page of WSN and IoT Lab at IIT Kanpur. Our primary target research areas are localization, efficient data aggregation, bandwidth and latency minimization, optimized WSN and CPS network design, optimized network design for IoT, sensor and data management in time varying IoT. We work on the intersection of signal processing, optimization, and network design for developing various network services of interest in the Indian context. Developing socially relevant applications like wireless sensor networks for smart agriculture, intelligent transportation and automation, and location based services for IoT are other areas we work on. The lab is equipped with NI sensor nodes/motes, gateways, compaq trios, crossbow motes along with other software including Netsym.
